A couple of people have said "Heard you had some excitement yesterday?" Yes - I did. Or rather WE did. About 10 minutes before 5:00 yesterday - I hung up the phone from a phone call from an old friend. Almost as soon as I set the phone down I heard what I thought was a bang or something - I thought someone backed into someone's car or something - then I heard someone honking and then screaming and someone came running into our office screaming call 911 call 911! HE put a gun to my mom's head -he shot a Dr. - call the police! I got up and walked down the hall - down the stairs and out the door and saw across the street a man walking out of the currency exchange across the street - he had a big oval blood spot on his shirt and he was talking on his cell phone - I thought - he must be helping someone over there - he walked up to his truck and put the tailgate down and sat on the tailgate - all while on the phone. The hysterical woman was standing in our parking lot and hugging her mom - the older woman. She was still hysterical. The older lady - that he had apparently stolen her purse - she was just beginning to cry - I thought she must be in shock. People from our office were saying - we better come inside and lock the door. It was just surreal. Somewhere in the background I heard Nancy telling Shayna to call 911. But there were already three or four people on their cell phones calling I think. I didn't want to leave - but I didn't want to stay here either. All I could think of was that I had to get home to the boys.
SO - to say it was exciting - yes - I guess you could say that. I really could go for a heck of a lot LESS excitement in my life!

here I go
This is my maiden voyage here. I admit - I did create a myspace page - but being as I'm 36 years old - I feel like I'm kinda too old for it - it just seems like it's mostly young 20 somethings on there - although I do really like how creative you can get with it - as far as layout's go - I just always feel like - one day my kids friends are gonna email him and ask him why his mom has a myspace page and he doesn't.
I found out coming up with a name for my blog was challengeing - why do I stress over things like what to name my blog? Which you probably don't understand when you see the crazy name I have for mine. How can I sum up all I want to communicate about myself to the virtual universe in one phrase? Impossible. So - I was reading another blog and she had a really cool list of stuff on it - where you highlight the stuff you have done - and the list had 151 things on it - so - there you go. My blog has a name. Also - I'm posting the list - because it's a good reminder to me that there is so much more I want to do in life - sometimes - I feel really old! Not sure if its because I work with a lot of twenty-somethings or what - but when I look at my life - there is so much still I haven't done - the life I want to live, in some ways - I feel hasn't even begun yet.
